Frequently asked questions about donating

Medical impact is at the core of the Finnish Medical Foundation’s mission. Our aim is to fund the best research projects and nurture new generations of physician-researchers. From the beginning, the Foundation has been committed to carefully evaluating grant applications based on scientific criteria.

Why choose the Finnish Medical Foundation?

The Finnish Medical Foundation is one of the most significant foundations in Finland that support medical research. We support research by providing grants to medical students and physicians conducting research. The aim of the Foundation is to increase the general appreciation for medical research.

Through us, your donation goes in full to the research subject of your choice, as we do not withhold any fundraising or administrative expenses.

Where does my donation go?

Donations are directed in full to medical researchers and students in the form of grants.

The recipients of grants are chosen through an impartial scientific evaluation based on the received applications.
